Four Factor Theory of Leadership in summary
The four basic dimensions of effective leadership are support, interaction facilitation, goal emphasis and work facilitation. They were developed by Dr David Bowers in 1966 and are still used in the present day to predict organisational efficacy.

Defining goals is critical because these goals define the results, and ensure the employees spend their time and energy on things that matter the most to them and your organisation. The most common criterion used for defining goals is SMART — Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Bound.

The term “hat trick” originated from the old days when players would wear hats, and get called a “hat trick” every time they scored one. If you score four or more goals in a single game, it's known as an “over haul.” To earn another name for scoring multiple hats in same game, you would have to score six or more goals.
